Do you work in a technical field? Do you manage technical employees? Then Purdue University’s Technical Management Institute is for you. Become a more effective project manager and supervisor in this professional development program offered by the College of Engineering and Krannert School of Management. Attend TMI October 16-19, 2018, at Purdue's Krannert Center for Executive Education.
TMI’s project management course was not a standard presentation of a product lifecycle, but more about acquiring an understanding of the pivot points for great project management. Anyone can learn the components, but being able to discuss and evaluate what makes a project remarkable was a unique feature of TMI.
Becky Ziga, Lead IT Business Analyst, Mead Johnson Nutrition
“TMI is a high-quality introduction to leadership and business concepts that most engineers aren’t exposed to in school.”
Paul Creekmore, Senior R&D Engineer, Milbank
“I have already recommended TMI to a colleague who is very good at managing technical processes but poor at the people-management aspect.”
Prince Ampomah, Director, Strategic Analysts, The Advisory Board Company
“I would recommend TMI to any colleague who is interested in moving into a leadership role.”
Cinnamon Gallatin, Associate Director of Operations, Purdue Agriculture Information Technology
“I have a team that doesn’t always see the big picture. I was able to gain some insight that I plan on using. Knowing your team, what the goals are, and how to get there are important, and TMI addressed these things.”
Andrew Beaumont, Implementation Services Manager, McKesson
“The networking is invaluable. There is a wealth of information shared during TMI. I learned so much from the classes as well as from my classmates, and would certainly recommend TMI to anyone considering it.”
Michael A. Hicks, IT Customer Relations, Purdue University
